Seychelles is 115 islands scattered across the Indian Ocean northeast of Madagascar. The main island, Mahé, is where you arrive and where most resorts are based. Praslin, the second largest, is an hour away by ferry and home to Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai — a UNESCO-listed forest that feels prehistoric. La Digue, the third most visited island, is small enough to explore by bicycle and has beaches that look like they were designed by someone who had too much time on their hands.


Five days is enough to settle into Mahé, make a day trip to Praslin, and spend real time on the water. It's not a packed itinerary — that's the point. The Seychelles rewards slowing down.

Day 1 – Arrive Mahé | Settle In

Arrive at Seychelles International Airport on Mahé. Your driver meets you at arrivals and transfers you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours — get into the water, walk the beach, or simply sit somewhere quiet and adjust to the pace of the islands. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 – Mahé Island | City Tour & Anse Intendance

Morning city tour of Victoria — the Botanical Gardens, the Clock Tower, and the colourful central market where you'll find spices, local produce, and fresh fish. Lunch included on the tour. After lunch, drive south to Anse Intendance — one of Mahé's most beautiful beaches. Strong surf makes it better for watching than swimming, but the setting is hard to beat. Back to the hotel in the evening.

Day 3 – Praslin Island Day Trip | Anse Lazio

Morning ferry from Mahé to Praslin — around an hour crossing. Spend the day at Anse Lazio, a beach that consistently appears on world's best lists and earns the ranking. The water is calm and clear, the coral reefs are close to shore, and there are a handful of restaurants on the beach for lunch. Optional: walk through the Vallée de Mai UNESCO forest before the return ferry. Back to Mahé in the evening.

Day 4 – St. Anne Marine Park | Reef Tour

Full day excursion to St. Anne National Marine Park. Sail out to Mahé's inner islands, board a semi-submersible vessel to view the reef below the surface, then snorkel or swim through the coral gardens and feed tropical fish. One of the most complete marine experiences in the Indian Ocean and a highlight of any Seychelles trip. Lunch on board. Back to the hotel by late afternoon.

Day 5 – Free Morning | Departure

Last morning at leisure — one more swim, a walk, or breakfast with a view. Transfer to Seychelles International Airport for your Kenya Airways flight back to Nairobi.
